ISME should create a business incubator

In this position paper, written for a conference on 4 November 2016 named "Taking an entrepreneurial approach to education and promoting an entrepreneurial mindset for university students," I argued in favor of our school creating a university business incubator. There are many, many reasons to create one and very few arguments against it.

I believe most, if not all, universities (especially those focusing on business subjects) should have an incubator to help students start their own companies. This paper includes some of the issues involved.

The Customer of Higher Education

In this article I argue against the misguided notion that students are customers of higher education. I do believe that we have customers but the customer is not the student. The customer is the employer who will hire the student upon graduation.

I welcome all comments.
